Introduction

Introduction: In line with the government's goal of establishing a crop protection laboratory in each province in the context of the implementation of federalism in Nepal, the state government, province no. As per the decision of the Council of Ministers of Province 2, the physical infrastructure, including the land of the erstwhile District Agriculture Development Office of Siraha district, was handed over to this laboratory on 7.07.2017 and this laboratory has been established in the same compound and is being operated duly. The Crop Protection Laboratory Eight under 2 In all the districts (Saptari, Siraha, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara and Parsa) for the management of harmful diseases and pests in the food, cash, vegetables and fruits planted by the farmers, on-site inspection and monitoring in the pocket areas of agricultural crops, the government has provided laboratory diagnostic services to the farmers by bringing samples of disease pests and testing them in the laboratory. Farmers from different pocket areas of the crop are involved in the field.

Various activities as well as technical publications related to crop protection are available to the farmers to enable the farmers to control and manage the enemy organisms in the crop through information, training, crop protection demonstrations and conducting crop health treatment camps.It is working to inform the farmers about the appropriate technology. The laboratory operates five (5) units of detail in Province No. Works are being carried out in line with the goal of providing services to the farmers, traders and the general public of Ward No. 2.
